About Me
Hello ! I've done a more detailed "about me" below, so I'll keep it real simple here;
I've been a tech enthusiast since I was 11, building websites and PCs early on, and have grown over 14 years in the industry, evolving from hands-on technical roles to leading large teams. Passionate about pioneering in DevOps and GenAIOps, I aim to continuously integrate cutting-edge technologies and leadership to transform and lead organizations into the future.

More "About Me"
I like explaining things in threes because our conscious minds are constantly overloaded, and personally that's all I take! So, here are three key aspects about me:
Core Me
I've always been into tech. I built my first website when I was 11 and my first PC when I was 13. This seemingly innate capability allow me to get my foot in the door in the Tech industry around 14 years ago, starting off in the Application Development and Operations arena. Through this journey my measure of success has changed both personally and professionally - initially being the best technically was agenda #1, but as my responsibilities grew I realized that being technically strong wasn't good enough, and so I turned my attention to People and Process. The Process elements I studied and adopted - Agile, SAFE, Waterfall, ITIL4, and especially DevOps (also taught me about People) really helped me understand the mechanisms of bringing "it all together". The People elements I learnt in the main from great mentors (Directors, CTOs, CEOs) I've had along the way, learning from how I like to be treated and acting on feedback from my teams. Through this journey I have truly come to appreciate from experience, that this IS the right priority - People, Process then Technology. There has to be a balance of course, but good and capable People are what underpins success.
Professional
I have had the privilege of building, managing and operating dozens of varied digital products and services across sectors and organisational paradigms including fully hands on roles in Data, DevOps and Application Development and hands off roles directly leading teams of 50 people. From fast paced extremely lean fintech startups, cloud native serverless apps, to billion £ public sector monoliths. I also have an overarching high level of interest in DevOps and GenAI and am a DevOps Ambassador for the DevOps Institute and a Founding Director for The Centre for GenAIOps.
Future
As the tech landscape continuously evolves, I'm committed to pioneering innovative strategies in DevOps and GenAIOps. My focus is on integrating cutting-edge technology and evolving my leadership qualities to drive transformative changes in organisations, positioning them at the forefront of their industries.
